That was a wonderful workshop on Saturday, thank you so much for taking it and bringing all your expertise and samples to spur us all on. I just loved the subtlety and variation of the strokes and had no idea just how many different sorts of lettering could come from the brush.
I thought it funny that you had to tell people to stop, that is was 4 o'clock. Normally, people are getting tired and starting to pack up, but we all still had our heads down and trying to perfect that elusive line. Of course, I loved the fact that it can be done on so many different surfaces too and though I wouldn't have had the confidence to work on my prepared backgrounds in class, I will certainly do so in the privacy of my own home - where no-one can see the rejects!!
Your demonstrations are brilliantly concise and entertaining in equal measure and I always know we are in safe hands when it is a Rosella workshop - so organised and structured.
